• Part B: Standard monthly premium is $202
• IRMAA: High-income LA residents (especially retirees in the entertainment industry, real estate, or tech) may pay more based on tax returns from two years prior.

Plus: Florida Medicare Birthday Rule — You get a 60-day window around your birthday to switch Medigap plans without medical underwriting — a huge benefit for LA residents who worry about rate increases or health changes.

This varies year-to-year, but generally:

• BBH- Morton Plant Hospital, Mease Countryside Hospital, Mease Dunedin Hospital and HCA Largo Hospital ER, participate in select Medicare Advantage plans — but not all of them.

• Kaiser Permanente only accepts Kaiser Medicare Advantage.
